Code Enforcement AGAIN!

April 4, 2016

Really do not understand the reasoning of the voluntary Plantation Park East Home Owners Association (PPEHOA)! It is run by a handful of individuals, of whom, only one understands the words; Compromise & Change! The others follow one individual who believes he can speak for the community, as a dictator, with no reason other than ignorance and ego from allowing the Plantation Park East Community to improve.

Is the PPEHOA the tool of one individual to get what he wants keeping the community stagnant and an eye sore? Instead of trying to communicate with people of the community, the President of the PPEHOA spread propaganda of inaccurate information in his attempts to derail a project that is not only good for this community but will also raise property values within the Plantation Park East community.

This community had an opportunity to attempt to ensure impact fees and other improvements that can no longer be addressed to stay within the Plantation Park East community. A complete failure of the PPEHOA to step up and improve the community with only one individual responsible.

Neither the President nor any of the officers have had the simple dignity yet to contact this site at any time! Yes, I am a Plantation Park East community resident now going on fourteen years and remember the days when the PPEHOA had participation from the community, not of a few. This is the absolute reason why a small number of individuals still attend and as I have documented on this site, times when they do not show up to the meeting to have enough for a quorum to have a meeting.

Hey PPEHOA what is your side? Guess no comment means there is truth to the content of this site!!!!

PPEHOA Has Got To Go!!!

Embarrassing!

As a resident within the community, this site was created to provide an avenue to the community. Since the Plantation Park East Home Owners Association (PPEHOA) has its own agenda and by my own experience, residing in the area for over a decade, is not one of action, communication or cooperation for the residents, this site has been created to inform the residents of the PPEHOA what is happening about the development of the Plantation Business Park (PBP) property.

Researching the records available by the state, the current sitting President of the PPEHOA has been in the position since 2005. As of this writing, the document filed with the State of Florida is a listing of the officers and nothing else, from its inception in 1998. The documentation also shows that the PPEHOA is incorporated and since 2005 the President is the Registered Agent and I am assuming, his home being the “Principal Place of Business” and Current Mailing Address. Was and still am curious about the Florida Non Profit designation of the PPEHOA and what is done with the donations collected at the meetings.

Has anything improved during his tenure? In fact participation in the PPEHOA has drastically declined to the point that it is not effective, nor exist from the residents I have spoke to . If there have been any improvement, it has not been communicated, nor has it been experienced by me. I appreciate the effort to the community but if nothing is being achieved, no support or improvement in the community. Please contact me and will gladly post the achievements of the PPEHOA during the current officers tenure.

Living in the association’s community for over a decade, the point of a Homeowners Association (HOA) is to improve the community. Over time, residing in the community I have seen the community deteriorate to the point I have had to attend numerous City of Plantation City Council meetings to get the City of Plantation to enforce the codes of the city and have not seen one time the PPEHOA have a presence at the Council meetings or support me as a member of this community and having donated during the collection period of the PPEHOA meetings. See: PPEHOA page.

Would really like to know what is and has been done with those donations. According to State of Florida and IRS statutes anyone can request a copy of a nonprofit’s Form 990 from the organization in writing. All you have to do is make the request in writing to the mailing address on file. I have linked the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations Detail page to get the information.

As a result of the  ego and propaganda of the PPEHOA officers and the greed and antiquated codes of the City of Plantation, a phenomenal development project was voted down during the Tuesday evening, September 1st, 2015, Planning and Zoning Board’s Meeting. Of which, the President of the PPEHOA sits on the board. The only individuals objecting to the project were the PPEHOA Officers!
