It amazes me to see a company treat it’s customers with disrespect. The fact that simple transparency and communication would resolve many of the issues Christopher Longsworth’s INVESCA Development Group, Strata at Plantation.
Do feel that my concerns about the maintenance of the swale of the INVESCA Development Group and Strata at Plantation are now being mirrored by the customers.

Terrible experience in it’s entirety. Customer Service associates like Maggie need a new career. Very unprofessional, profoundly rude. I was not only offended by her responses but by even her tone. The buying experience with this company/builder has been dreadful. It’s like a long slow death. Construction feels like it’s taking decades. Really feels like builder has run out of money and can’t continue building, difficulty selling more units, therefore construction STOPPED. Current Buyers Suffer! Strata you suck! I should have never purchased from you. Give me my money back!!!
3 messages and an email and no one responded. Drove by the sale center and it was gated and closed. Found another entrance and had to go through a gravel road to find … well…. nothing. No one there, empty lot. Guess the place went belly up.

(STRATA at Plantation) INVESCA Group builders have been a BIG Disappointment!
We gave our trust to Invesca when we booked our new home at pre construction stage at Strata Plantation. We booked our unit in phase 1 and were promised possession by October 2017 (written in writing). The home is not even started to built walls even yet and its already May 2018. When asked about the reason of our delay we were told that it was because your building was moved to phase 2! ( without any notice to us) investing in this project has been a big letdown for us.
Also just because all this is not enough of a problem, the customer service offered by Invesca is NOT cooperative at all. They have made us feel the worst for taking a decision to invest with them! We have made a big mistake by giving our trust and hopes to this company.

We are sorry about your frustration with the construction progress. As with all new construction, it is unfortunately impossible for the developer to guarantee a specific completion date, which is why we would never promise delivery of a unit by a date certain. Any dates provided throughout the construction process are estimates, and the terms of completion are included within your purchase agreement. We know buying a new home is an exciting time, and understand that our buyers are anxious to move into their new homes. We remain confident your home will be worth the wait, and based on the current appraisals, is a great investment! Please refer to the Strata construction updates for the latest information on the construction schedule, photos and videos directly from the project site. Please contact our sales department if you have any further questions or concerns. – Strata at Plantation
Horrible customer service with keeping future home owners updated on progress. I signed my contract in April of 2017 and i was promised a delivery date of Oct 2017, it is now APril 2018. Many excuses have been provided by the builder but with no consideration of the hardship these delays have cost me. For instance the rate I was quoted on back in 2017 was 4%, a year later that rate will be much higher, also i am paying rent month to month at a higher rate all because of Starta inabbility to be transparent with the buyers of actual completion date. They have taken the joy out of buying my home! and by the way since they have my deposit I am stuck waiting for this unit i dont even want anymore!. I suggest you look at other properties, like Lennar they seem to be much more professional.

We are sorry to hear about your frustration with your experience. As with all new construction, it is impossible for the developer to guarantee a firm completion date, which is why we would never promise delivery of a unit by a certain date. Such advance projections, by their very nature, have to be estimates. We understand construction delays directly affect our buyers, especially when confronted with big decisions like selling existing homes, living arrangements, financing, and the like. During the development period, Strata sends construction updates with with photos, videos and updates to keep buyers informed of the status of their future home. We know our buyers are anxious to move into their new home, and we remain confident your home will be worth the wait! Plus, it’s a great investment! Please contact our sales department if you have any further questions or concerns. – Strata at Plantation
