Nick Sortal is one of a few reporters who have crossed the road from holding elected officials accountable through a long career in journalism to becoming an elected official not subject to being held accountable by the media and the voters.

You would think he would fully be aware of the consequences of the words he says, no matter the “context.”

This is not the type of person the Plantation Democratic Club should have as a board member, let alone Mayor of the City of Plantation.
