Three weeks and counting since posting about the horrible conditions of Christopher Longsworths‘, INVESCA Development Group, Strata at Plantation swale.

On Friday, April 6th, Council Member Lynn Stoner and Captain Steve Geller of the Plantation Police took the time to walk the INVESCA Development Group and Strata at Plantation swale. At the time it was evident that both Council Member Lynn Stoner and Captain Steve Geller were more inclined to defend Christopher Longsworth then actually hold him accountable to adhere to the City of Plantation Code Ordinances.

Am now receiving Facebook Messenger messages from actual purchasers of units within the Strata at Plantation development expressing their disappointment with INVESCA Development Groups’, Strata at Plantation construction delays. They have been given construction completion dates that are running two YEARS late and in the words of one purchaser, “they don’t accommodate, no incentives and to make matters worse we can’t get out of our contracts“!

My personal theory of the delay stems from the Plantation Park East Homeowners Association Officers, President O’Neil Chin, Treasurer Sandra Grace, and presently running for City Council Erroll Brown, objections to the development until the last minute. As a result of the Plantation Park East Homeowners Association the community itself had lost the ability to gain concessions from Christopher Longsworths‘, INVESCA Development Group before the approval. Because of the continued delays in approval of the project from the City of Plantation, Christopher Longsworths‘, INVESCA Development Group, as Christopher Longsworth told me, lost their initial financing of the project. As evident by the present situation hose delays are continuing to create issues through today.

As of this posting it does not look like any effort has been made to bring the swale up to the City of Plantation Code Ordinances. Below are screen shots taken from the City of Plantation Code Enforcement Online Activity Search

The above violations do not include the violations the property accrued before Christopher Longsworth moved the INVESCA Development Group’s offices to the property and changed the address from 4350 West Sunrise Blvd. to 4350 NW 8th Ct.

In my January 2nd, 2016 post I listed the offenses of the previous owner and on top of all that a copy of the City of Plantation City Council Minutes from January 7, 2009 detailing my visit back then and the City Councils responses to me.

It is now April, almost May of 2018 and all that I have got from the elected officials and the owners is lies! Continued violations with absolutely no fines!
