The Plantation Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to our community. Our department is one of a few select agencies to have earned accreditation from both the international accrediting agency (CALEA) and the State of Florida accrediting agency (CFA).

Mission Statement

We, the members of the Plantation Police Department, are committed to being responsive to the community in the delivery of quality law enforcement services.

We recognize our responsibility to maintain order, while affording dignity and respect to every individual.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Plantation through a partnership with the community that promotes safe, secure streets and neighborhoods.
